In the Garden of Gethsemane ...

In the place where Jesus,
was crucified 
there was a garden, 
and in this garden 
a new tomb, 
where no one 
had still been placed...

On the eve 
of the Jewish Sabbath,
and for being close 
of that tomb, 
There they placed Jesus,
second 
the Scriptures...

In the first 
day of the week 
Mary Magdalene 
went to the tomb 
early in the morning, 
it was still dark...
And he saw that the stone 
had been removed,
and saw the empty tomb,
Jesus wasn't there...

Afterwards, 
Madalena 
went to Pedro,
and the other disciple 
saying that,
they had taken 
Jesus from there...
And they didn't know,
where did they put it
they didn't understand
what Jesus said,
that He was going 
to be resurrected...

Then Pedro arrived
with another disciple,
and entering 
in the tomb
they saw the sheets, 
and also the scarf,
who were about 
the head of Jesus,
curled up in one place 
apart, but
Jesus wasn't there...

It therefore became
the disciples go home 
But, Mary, 
I cried looking 
into the tomb...
Jesus wasn't there...

Then Maria cried,
saw two angels 
who said why are you crying?
And she said,
Where have I placed my Lord?
Tell me,
and I will take you...

Following Jesus
appeared saying,
Mary! And she, 
turning around,
recognized him
saying, Master!...

[Chourus]
[Well then,
Jesus alive was 
before Mary...
The tomb was empty...
Because the living Jesus is...
Today and in all 
on Fridays,
men and women 
they cry for a dead person...
But the tomb is empty...
Because the living Jesus is...
He's alive...
And the tomb is empty.]

INVERNIA...

Por: Pedro Paulo Costa  As folhas  começam a cair e penso que vai chover, parece O utono mas ainda não é, o vento frio  começa a soprar  parece até mesmo  que vai chover... As folhagens  vem balançando no ar em ritmo lento  numa sinfonia  que julgo escutar, percebo agora  que uma garôa fina  vem cobrindo essa relva  com cheiro de rosas margaridas e jasmins, enquanto estou  diante desse  encantamento, parece mesmo  que o inverno chegou... A chuva fina  começa enfim a cair e me encontro  contemplando  essa melancólica cena, e agora fico deduzindo  porque lá fora  o tempo não está  tão frio assim, enquanto creio  que aqui dentro  o inverno começou  já faz muito tempo... Obs: Esse poema de minha autoria está regstrado no meu caderno de rascunhos e data de 28/08/79.

Chovia muito...

Por: Pedro Paulo Costa Porque não me faz pensar a brisa  que a gente vive e não pensa, sim... e pensando-se que vivendo assim tudo o que acontece se realiza... Nas lutas a gente se desvanece  e busca ter fé, pra gente perder  o medo necessário somente é, saber  daquilo que a gente ainda desconhece... Ilusões... no que eu penso, que transponho,  meus pensamentos e chegar ao sonho no meu quarto tão escuro e sem afeto... Chove no entanto, e penso ao travesseiro  na chuva que vem desabar sobre o teto  desse tão meu solitário desespero... Obs: Esse meu soneto data de 20/10/1975, quando eu residia na Cidade de Vargem Alegre, que era um distrito de Caratinga-MG, a Cidade onde nasci.
