Hope, Gentleness...
Por: Pedro Paulo Costa
We are living
in times of war,
and in times of crimes
of abuse,
as well as
in other ways
of violence,
in today's world...
We don't want
announce tragedies,
like the ones that are
occurring
in many countries,
and we have seen
through TV and the media,
but we wish
announce peace...
In the Epistle
of the Apostle Peter
we read the following...
You are always
prepared
to respond,
with meekness and fear
to everyone who
what to ask of you
the reason for hope
what is in you...
Lord
summoned Jeremiah
to go to the potter's house,
see how it's done
with the vase,
when it is being done
and it breaks...
It was at the time
of the invasion
of Babylon,
when Jeremiah
witnessed hunger,
death and escape
of God's people,
that passed
out of despair
of death and tragedy,
that came upon Israel...
The hope
that Pedro refers to,
in his Epistle
means,
THE REGOJIZO
AND TRUST,
total in Christ Jesus...
At the Potter's house,
where Jeremiah
was taken by God,
it was for him to understand
like the potter
repair the broken vase...
[Chorus]
[That's why
said Peter,
be prepared
to respond
to everyone who asks you,
the reason for hope
what is in you...
What's the reason,
of hope
what is in you?]
[Chourus]
[Jeremiah also understood
that in times of war,
hope is in the Lord...
That's why he said,
I want to bring to memory
that which gives me hope.]
